Celebrate the Holidays at December First Friday
Celebrate the holidays with the Town of Silverthorne at December First Friday! Head to the Silverthorne Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 1 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and holiday art market. Sip on hot chocolate as you shop unique wares from over 35 local artists and enjoy live music, carolers, holiday crafts and more. Community members will also be able to visit with Santa himself.
The tree lighting ceremony will be held in front of the main Silverthorne Pavilion entrance at 6 p.m. Musical performances include the Rocky Mountain Brass Band, the Summit Community Orchestra, the Summit Choral Society and a live DJ.
From 5:30 to 7 p.m., community members can also enjoy holiday story time at Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea with the Summit County Library.
For adults, head to Angry James Brewery starting at 7 p.m. for the annual Angry Santa Party featuring live music from Stereo Transmission.
First Friday Tips
- Walk, ride your bike, carpool, or take the FREE Summit Stage to First Friday as parking is limited.
- Bring your reusable First Friday cup for $1 off beer or wine.
- Drink responsibly and designate a sober driver.
- No outside alcohol is permitted at First Friday events.
