 Sledding
Enjoy the simple pleasures of winter with a day of sledding at Rainbow Park or Maryland Creek Park. Families with little ones will want to head to Rainbow Park for its gentler slopes, while older kids and adults will want to try the larger hill at Maryland Creek Park.
|
 Ice Skating
From December through early March, the town of Silverthorne plows and maintains the free ice rink at North Pond Park, a local’s favorite. Bring your own skates (and hockey sticks) anytime from dawn to dusk. Warm up in the adjacent hut.

The Raven at Three Peaks Nordic Center
In the winter, the nearby Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks transforms into a free Nordic center. When enjoying the Nordic trails at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks, please remember to stay out of the roped areas around the golf course and stay on the trail. No sledding, walking or dogs allowed.

Where Art Meets Adventure
At the center of Silverthorne's dynamic community is the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center, a 16,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that is home to the renowned Lake Dillon Theatre Company. Each year, the Lake Dillon Theatre Company performs a holiday special featuring music, dance, comedy, caroling and more. This year's Holiday Follies performance runs from Dec. 9 to Dec. 30.

Bringing the arts to life and making them accessible to residents and visitors is a key priority for the Town of Silverthorne and we are proud to host several public art exhibits throughout the year.
From contemporary murals to abstract sculpture and mixed media installations to hand-blown glass pieces, Silverthorne strives to present works that are multicultural, diverse, welcoming, relaxed, natural, creative, progressive, playful, colorful, adventurous and energized.
