Silverthorne Parks, Open Space and Trails Master Plan Update
The Silverthorne Parks, Open Space and Trails (POST) Master Plan is a long-range planning document that serves as a roadmap for where the Town is heading with recreational amenities. It includes an assessment of our existing parks, open space, and trails; along with our goals and objectives for the future. Designing parks, building new trails, and acquiring open space requires grant monies, establishing access easements, multiple layers of approval, buy-in from the community, and negotiations. To achieve these goals, advanced planning is required. The POST Plan was last updated in 2014 and the Town of Silverthorne is now in the process of updating it again.
Silverthorne town staff would like to hear from community members to help shape the future of our parks, open space and trails. Take the survey below to share your feedback, comments and ideas on how you use town parks, what improvements can be made and what your recreational priorities are. We look forward to hearing from our community.
