                Some Money Saving Tips on your Monthly Water Bill:

• Bills are generated on the 1st of every month & due on or before the 15th.
• If not received by 7am the next business day, 5% penalties will be applied to any remaining balance on your account.
• Please know we are not responsible for mail delivery. If payment is not received by due date, penalties will be assessed. Not receiving a bill does not exclude you from these charges.
• Shut-offs for non-payment are most often scheduled for the last Monday of the month.
• Door tags (YELLOW) go out the Thursday before shut-off day.
• If you find yourself receiving the RED shut-off notice in the mail and you don’t make a timely payment, you will receive a YELLOW door tag.
• The YELLOW door tag will cost you an additional $15.
• And then… if you find yourself turned off for non-payment at this point, you will be charged an additional $30 for the water department to go to your house and turn your water off.
• At this point, you must make a payment of your total PAST DUE amount in order to get your water turned on.
• Once that has happened, there will be an additional $30 charge for the water department to turn your water back on.

We know and understand that sometimes circumstances are out of our control, but with this, we’re attempting to hopefully save you that extra 5%, $15, or $60 (on/off) to remind you to get whatever payments in that you can.

                Algunos consejos para ahorrar dinero en su factura mensual de agua:

1. Las facturas se generan el día 1 de cada mes y vencen el día 15 o antes.
2. Si no se recibe antes de las 7 a.m. del siguiente día hábil, se aplicarán multas del 5% a cualquier saldo restante en su cuenta.
3. Tenga en cuenta que no somos responsables de la entrega del correo. Si el pago no se recibe antes de la fecha de vencimiento, se impondrán multas. El hecho de no recibir una factura no lo excluye de estos cargos.
4. Los cortes por falta de pago se programan con mayor frecuencia para el último lunes del mes.
5. Las etiquetas de las puertas (AMARILLAS) se apagan el jueves antes del día de apagado.
6. Si recibe el aviso de corte ROJO por correo y no realiza un pago a tiempo, recibirá una  etiqueta de puerta AMARILLA.
7. La etiqueta de puertaAMARILLA le costará $ 15 adicionales.
8. Y entonces... Si se encuentra desconectado por falta de pago en este punto, se le cobrará $30 adicionales para que el departamento de agua vaya a su casa y corte el agua.
9. En este punto, debe realizar un pago de su monto total VENCIDO para que le abran el agua.
10. Una vez que eso haya sucedido, habrá un cargo adicional de $30 para que el departamento de agua vuelva a abrir el agua.

Sabemos y entendemos que a veces las circunstancias están fuera de nuestro control, pero con esto, esperamos ahorrarle ese 5%, $15 o $60 adicionales (encendido/apagado) para recordarle que realice los pagos que pueda.
