The Colorado Broadband Office is pleased to bring you the October Lunch & Learn featuring a discussion on “5G: The Next Generation”. Many claim 5G will solve our broadband connectivity issues, but will it? What exactly is 5G? How will it help? Is there a role for 5G in rural areas or is it an urban solution? What will it take to realize this technology? Where does this next-generation technology platform fit into a broader picture of broadband connectivity.
In this Lunch & Learn we will examine the 5G landscape, the technology, the spectrum, as well as the number of 5G towers and the backhaul needed to make it work. We will also explore what separates 5G from previous generations of wireless service.
