Mayor Leh moved to enter executive session; seconded by Council member Kern.

EXECUTIVE SESSION REPORT - DISCUSSION / DIRECTION / ACTION (01:30:30)
City Attorney Kelly stated the Executive Session was for the purpose of discussing a potential real property disposition. She noted that Council had such discussion and recommended Council discuss the matter and determine whether there is a motion.
Mayor Leh stated the discussion was related to 101 S. Taylor. Mayor Leh moved to direct the City Manager to terminate the contract; seconded by Council member Kern.
There was a brief discussion regarding public engagement; fiscal responsibility; the process of Executive Session, including clarification and comment from City Attorney Kelly.

The motion failed.
Council member Kern exited the meeting at 6:57 p.m.

Council member Kern moved Ordinance No. 1920, Series 2026 pass on the first reading and set the public hearing for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.; seconded by Council member Dickinson.

ORDINANCE NO. 1918, SERIES 2026 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 15 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING WILDLAND URBAN INTERFACE - 2ND READING, PUBLIC HEARING (ADVERTISED CITY OF LOUISVILLE WEBSITE 03/26/2026) (02:30:22)
Council member Kern moved to approve Ordinance No. 1918, Series 2026, with an amendment to Sec. 18.80.070.A.2 to allow the exception for Class B composite decking; delete Sec. 15.80.80.B.1 to eliminate plantings in the five-foot defensible space; and amend Sec. 15.80.80.C.1 to include dormant grasses and weeds shall be mowed to a height not to exceed six inches; seconded by Mayor Leh.
