 Wildfire Partners General Rebate Program is now open for the 2026 season
If you're a homeowner or renter in Boulder County, you may be eligible for a rebate up to $500 for completing one or more of six specific mitigation tasks.
The 2026 rebate program will continue to encourage the six eligible wildfire mitigation actions from the 2025 rebate program:

Cut the Clutter – Declutter under your deck to reduce the risk of ember ignition.

Fences are Fuses – Replace the five feet of fencing attached to your home with fire-resistant, noncombustible materials.

Junk Your Junipers – Remove highly flammable juniper shrubs from your landscape.

Protect Home Base – Cover the bottom 6 inches of house siding with noncombustible material.

The First Five Feet – Replace the first five feet surrounding your home with noncombustible materials.

Vents for Defense – Install 1/8-inch mesh screens or upgrade to flame-resistant vents to block embers.
All qualifying work and materials must be completed on properties located within Boulder County. The application deadline for the 2026 rebate program is 5 p.m. on Oct. 8, 2026, and all work must be completed and claims submitted before 5 p.m. on Oct. 29, 2026.
