Rob Price, Assistant Superintendent of Operational Services for BVSD, made the presentation.
No action was taken by Council.
B. 2026 Council Work Plan Adoption (00:50:40)
Deputy City Manager Samma Fox gave the staff presentation.
Council member Hoefner moved to adopt the 2026 Council work plan with the clarifying amendments offered by Council members Kern and Cooperman; seconded by Council member Dickinson.

C. Discussion / Direction: Traffic Via Appia and Polk / Dahlia (01:14:05)
Public Works Director Kurt Kowar presented the staff report.
Council member Hoefner moved to keep the two-lane configuration on Via Appia and pursue additional incremental improvements along the problem areas as time and budget allow; seconded by Mayor Leh. Council member Kern offered a friendly amendment to focus on the crossing at Sagebrush and evacuation route markings. Council member Hoefner accepted the amendment.

Council member Hoefner moved to keep the traffic configuration on Polk / Dahlia with steps to improve communication on how it works and to pursue additional raised crosswalks as appropriate; seconded by Council member Dickinson.
