Radon Awareness Week: January 26–30, 2026
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell, or taste—and the only way to know if it’s in your home is to test. Did you know you can check out a Radon Gas Detector for free from the Library?. The Safety Siren Pro Series 3 plugs into a standard outlet and tracks short- and long-term radon levels with hourly updates.

 50 Books in First Grade
In a year of firsts, the library is here to support your growing reader. This school year, first graders can sign up for 50 Books in First Grade at the library, or register online. Prizes are awarded for reading 30 books and 50 books.
