Your input will shape the priorities for Parks, Open Space, Trails, Recreation & Senior Center, and Golf for the next 10+ years.

Each day, take a moment to reflect on something you’re thankful for, then build your strength with a plank. This quick daily habit supports both your mindset and your body.

Gratitude: Write down or say one thing you’re grateful for—big or small, anything that sparks joy or appreciation.

Plank: Hold a plank for a set time each day, increasing gradually to boost endurance and core strength.

Get stronger in the off season and help prevent injuries by strengthening the core, hip girdle and upper body. We will work on building a strong foundation using body weight exercises, plyometrics, balance and movement drills. Instructor Leslie H.

Come enjoy practicing mindful yoga and Pilates outside in the fresh air! Classes will be held at Heritage park! We will strengthen our core, tone and stretch our bodies, and practice short mindful meditations and guided relaxations to soothe our hearts and minds. Instructor: Amanda H.

Are you interested in volunteering for your community and bringing your point of view to help the City form policy? Serving on a Louisville board or commission is a rewarding way to give back to your community and make a lasting impact. Your participation is an opportunity to share your passion and expertise to help shape Louisville's present and future.
The Recreation Advisory Board provides guidance and input to City Council and City staff regarding recreation and golf facilities, recreation and golf programming and policies, and medium and long-range planning for recreation and golf facilities. The board meets the fourth Monday of each month at the Recreation Center (900 West Via Appia).
Deadline to apply is November 3.
