 Apply for the Youth Advisory Board!
Louisville youth in grades 6–12—your voice matters! Apply to join the Youth Advisory Board and connect with peers in your community. As a bridge between local government and local youth, the board has an opportunity to discuss youth ideas and issues, has opportunities for youth leadership, all while learning a little something about local government. Members meet monthly on Thursday evenings during the school year (plus a few extra hours for special projects). Applications are due by 8am, September 2, 2025.

Monday, 9/15 @ 6 p.m. All Ages
Puzzle fans unite! Drop in for a casual-to-competitive puzzle party with swaps, snacks, and challenges. All ages and skill levels welcome—singles, duos, groups. Let’s piece together fun!

Tuesdays or Sundays | Starting 9/2
Get ready to wiggle, giggle, and groove! This upbeat caregiver-child music class blends music, silly fun, and positive messages. Babies under 6 months join free with sibling.

Tuesdays & Thursday, Starts 9/9, mornings
Perfect for every 2-year-old (by 101/1/25)! With thoughtfully guided choices, playful learning, and a short circle time, kids build confidence and social skills—while caregivers stay in the facility (but not in the classroom).

Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 3 hours per day
Preschool spots are filling fast! Enroll your 3-year-old (by 10/1/25) at the Louisville Rec & Senior Center—licensed, nurturing teachers and a play-based curriculum in a supportive environment.

Bring a little magic to Louisville! Create a fairy house at home—on your own, with friends, or as a family—and place it by a tree on the Arboretum trail by 8am, Sept. 27, 2025. Houses will be on display through Oct. 5 for the community to enjoy. Please collect your house by Oct. 5. Free event, but registration required. Note: Houses are displayed at your own risk.

Ages 6-11 | Discover Japan’s vibrant culture! Explore calligraphy, origami, ikebana, martial arts, chopstick skills, and Japanese vocabulary—led by a native instructor for an authentic, hands-on adventure.

Meet amazing local wildlife up close! Live raptors, snakes, and other reptiles. Games and hands-on activities. Educational displays about local wildlife and their habitats. Registration is not required.

Practices Mondays @ 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Founded to provide top coaching and training to all water polo athletes. We focus water polo training on current Olympic Development Program guidelines.
