 Summer Reading Challenge: A Community Success Story!
The Louisville Public Library has wrapped up another incredible Summer Reading Challenge, and the numbers are telling a remarkable story of a lifelong love of reading and a passion for our community.
 Dog Days of Summer First Friday
First Fridays are back in downtown Louisville on the first Friday of the month. Stroll the charming streets of downtown and enjoy a wonderful evening of curated shopping, lovely music, beautiful art, drinks and refreshments. Stop by the Library from 5-7 p.m. and make a DIY dog toy!

50 Books in First Grade
In a year of firsts, the library is here to support your growing reader. This school year, first graders can sign up for 50 Books in First Grade at the library, or register online. Prizes are awarded for reading 30 books and 50 books.

Legendary Ladies Historic Reenactors Return to Louisville
Friday, 9/12 | 6-7 p.m. | Arts Center, 801 Grant Ave. The Louisville Public Library and Louisville Historical Museum present a special evening with the Legendary Ladies. The Legendary Ladies are a group of historical performers who will whisk you away back in time to learn about these famous women with Colorado connections: Alice Ramsey, Ellis Meredith, Helen Hunt Jackson, and Anne Ellis. Spend the evening immersed in their stories about motoring in the early 1900s, the suffragist movement in Colorado and beyond, Native American activism, and writing all about Colorful Colorado. Registration required.
Vintage Base Ball Game
Saturday, 9/20 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Miners Field, 1212 South St. Take me out to the ball game! You’re invited to this free vintage base ball game, brought back by popular demand for a fifth year! This showdown will feature historic uniforms, equipment, and game rules. Bring the whole family to enjoy America’s pastime with cracker jacks, crafts, free t-shirts (while supplies last), and photo opportunities.
