In anticipation of heavy rainfall in Louisville, we'd like to take this opportunity to remind all residents to sign up for BOCO Alert and/or download the Reachwell app. Disasters can happen at any moment, and we want to make sure you know how to stay prepared. Regardless of weather conditions, Louisville residents should:

• Make sure you’re signed up to receive emergency alerts through BOCO Alert or ReachWell.
• Have your personal preparedness plan ready.
• Remember that you are always your first notification. If you see, hear, smell, or sense that something may be dangerous, take action to keep yourself safe.
• Stay up to date on severe weather, visit the National Weather Service website at Weather.gov/bou/.

We often share messages from BOCO Alert and the Boulder Office of Disaster Management through our official channels, like email and social media, to raise awareness for alerts that could impact Louisville. However, BOCO Alert is our official provider for emergency alerts.
