City of Louisville announces Brandi Cummings as new Cultural Services Director
LOUISVILLE, CO — The City of Louisville has selected Brandi Cummings as its new Cultural Services Director, overseeing the Louisville Public Library and Louisville Historical Museum, as well as the city's Arts & Events program.
Cummings joins Louisville from Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she has served as Assistant Director and Interim Director of the Kenosha Public Library. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Herzing University as well as a Master of Library & Information Science from Emporia State University.
"Brandi brings a wealth of experience and insight to this role," said City Manager Diana Langley. "We are excited for her energy, creativity, and human-focused approach."
In addition to managing the staff of the Cultural Services Department, Cummings will be tasked with oversight of the Library and Museum’s full-service programs, services, and collections; public art programs; and community-wide special events, including the 4th of July Celebrations and Labor Day Parade.
Cummings is expected to assume her new role on June 16.
