Senior Services Showcase
Join us Monday, April 7, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to see what Louisville Senior Services is all about! We're hosting a fun, casual showcase of our 60+ programs—everything from day trips and special events to daily lunches, wellness activities, and helpful local resources.
Meet our friendly staff, explore the senior lounge and facility, and enjoy live performances from our Tap Dancers, Line Dancers, Zumba Gold Chair, Choir, and Quantum Band. We'll have light snacks and lattés, too!
No need to register—just drop by. It’s free and open to everyone, so bring your friends, neighbors, and family!

“Yes, And…” Improv for Everyone is an invigorating opportunity to learn improvisational theater skills, build confidence, deepen empathy, and develop character/story in a fun, active, creative, collaborative environment.

Wednesday, 4/2-4/30 @ 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
This class is designed for Spanish speakers who are comfortable with regular and irregular verbs in the present tense. More advanced students will be provided opportunities to work at their own level. We will practice pronouns, the verb gustar, and reflexive verbs.

Thursday, 4/17 @ 10:30 - 11:45 a.m.
We’ll review why elders have difficulty sleeping and present the current scientific approaches to help improve sleep. Presented by William J. McCann, MA, PsyD.

The Boulder County SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) Medicare Counselors will be offering in person appointments at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center. Get accurate and unbiased information on Medicare enrollment, Medigap/ Supplemental, Part D and Medicare Advantage plans. For more information or to schedule an appointment call 303-441-1546. The Boulder County Caregiver Initiative supports caregivers of those 60+ or with dementia. Resource Specialists offer personalized information, referrals, and resources during walk-in hours. Walk-ins are welcome.

Community Protection Specialist, Desiree Firle, will be available to share tips and tricks to combat becoming a victim of Scams and Fraud, how her office can help, and information about current trends in scams she is hearing about in Boulder County.

Brooks Café at the Louisville's Recreation & Senior Center offers a welcoming space for older adults to enjoy affordable, nutritious meals and socialize. Meals are offered Monday-Friday and reservations are required by 1:30pm the day before. To register for a meal, call 303-335-4931 or email pmorgan@louisvilleco.gov.

Older Americans Month Luncheon
Wednesday, 5/21 @ 11:45 a.m. Join us for our annual celebrating YOU! This year's theme is "Flip the Script" and that's what we will do with our lunch and entertainment from a local photographer, Improv demo from our in house instructor and we will enjoy a short scene from VIVA Theatre's show, "Our Town". Registration begins at noon for this event on April 16 for Louisville residents and April 18 for non-residents.
