Even libraries need a spring refresh! This April, we're rolling out the new carpet (literally) and breaking out the paint brushes to give your library space some TLC. After serving our community since 2006 with the same carpet and paint, it's time for a little freshening up.

 Join Us for a Youth Spring Art Show
Join us as the Louisville Art Association, Louisville Cultural Arts Board, and Louisville Public Library come together to present the Youth Spring Art Show Opening Reception on Friday, March 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Louisville Public Library. Celebrate our community's young artists and their creative expressions this spring season!

Summer Reading Buddies
We are accepting applications for Big and Little Buddies beginning March 16. Reading Buddies pairs teenage volunteers in grades 7-12 with kindergarten to 2nd-grade students. The Buddies meet every week to do fun reading-related activities.

Teen Summer Squad
Help out at our summer reading table and earn volunteer hours. For teens ages 13-17. Applications are available beginning April 1. Applications are due May 2.

Operation Footlocker: Vietnam War Traveling Trunk Program
Saturday, 3/29 | 3–4 p.m. | Library (951 Spruce St.) Explore history up close with Operation Footlocker: Vietnam Traveling Trunk Program presented in conjunction with the Broomfield Veterans Museum. This traveling exhibit features over 30 authentic artifacts, including original uniforms and home front items. Former U.S. Navy Swift Boat Captain Pete Snyder will offer a unique look at the Vietnam War and life in the 1960s and 1970s as well as share his own personal experiences of the war. Louisville Vietnam veterans and their families are invited to attend and share their experiences. Registration is requested.
