Fire restrictions lifted in Louisville
Yesterday, Boulder County Sheriff Curtis Johnson and the Board of County Commissioners rescinded fire restrictions in the unincorporated areas of eastern Boulder County. Because the Louisville City Council made Louisville's fire restrictions coterminous with those of the county, all fire restrictions have been lifted in Louisville, effective immediately.
Stage 1 fire restrictions remain in effect in western Boulder County. For more information, including a map of the areas where Stage 1 restrictions remain in effect, see this Boulder County news release.
