Friday, July 5 | 6-8 PM | Historical Museum Back by popular demand, July's theme is "Louisville Soda Parlors." Do you call it soda, pop, coke, or something else? Cast your vote for the "right" name! This night will be full of fun facts about Louisville's soda parlors, as well as samples of historic soda floats! This event is free and open to the public, no registration is required.
Walking Tour: Cheers to 100 Years; Louisville Public Library!
Saturday, July 13 | 9-10 AM | Historical Museum Join us in celebrating 100 years of the Louisville Public Library by tracing the steps of the many locations the library has held! Learn fascinating details about the library's history from 1924 to now! This is a free, in-person program, but registration is required.
Live Concert: Wrenn & Ian with Libélula
Saturday, July 13 | 7 PM | Steinbaugh Pavilion The City of Louisville is thrilled to be presenting a concert by Wrenn & Ian with Libélula this July! Since 2021, Wrenn & Ian with Libélula has captivated audiences across Colorado's Front Range. This musical project is the expansion of the talented Wrenn & Ian duo, capitalizing on their success and taking a different direction. Their music is both exciting and soulful, blending Funk and Groove with R&B and Jazz. With powerful, soaring vocals and enthralling improvisations, Libélula's exhilarating sound brings audiences to their feet and dancers to the dance floor! This event is free and open to the public, no registration is required.
Museum Talk: The L&L and Other Colorado Drive-Ins
Saturday, July 27 | 3 PM | Library Join us for a fascinating journey into the history of Drive-in Theaters! Long-time residents may remember enjoying movies at the L&L Motor Vu Drive-in Theater, later called the Starlite. Michael Kilgore, author of Drive-Ins of Colorado, will be presenting on the L&L and other Colorado drive-ins. There will be popcorn! This is a free, in-person program, but registration is required.
