2026 Cutting-Edge Award Winners Celebrated
Mayor Schlachter presented the 2026 Cutting-Edge Award to four Littleton businesses, one from each city council district, at the State of the City event October 21. Created through Littleton’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, the award highlights businesses helping move Littleton toward becoming “A Creative Cutting-Edge Small Town.”
Being cutting-edge, Mayor Schlachter explained, is not only about technology or new ideas. It also means finding creative ways to grow, creating opportunities, engaging with the community, and contributing to the long-term resilience of the local economy.
This year’s nominations represented the diversity of businesses that call Littleton home. A review committee selected one winner from each district, and each winner receives a $500 check along with a one-year membership to the Littleton Business Chamber.
- District 1: The Diamond Reserve, recognized for a personalized approach to the jewelry industry, with a focus on craftsmanship, customer experience, and lasting relationships.
- District 2: Silver Stem Fine Cannabis, recognized for its commitment to being an engaged member of the Littleton business community.
- District 3: Mobility Auto Group, recognized for a business model that helps people maintain mobility and independence.
- District 4: Curate: A Local Mercantile, recognized for bringing together local makers and small businesses to create opportunities for other entrepreneurs.
Congratulations to all four winners. Their contributions show what it means to build a thriving, creative economy in Littleton.

Project Main Street and Project PARKing Surveys Closing Soon
Project Main Street is the next step in transforming Downtown Littleton’s adopted vision into reality. As the City of Littleton evaluates design, infrastructure, accessibility, safety, and long-term maintenance needs, community input is critical, from walkability and street activity to landscaping, events, and preserving Downtown Littleton’s unique character.
Alongside Project Main Street, the city is developing Project PARKing, Littleton’s Parking and Curbside Management Strategy. This effort will help the city understand current parking and access needs, plan for changes associated with Main Street improvements, and identify opportunities in downtown, along Littleton Boulevard, and throughout the community. Share where you experience parking challenges or see opportunities through the survey. Your feedback will help shape future parking and curbside recommendations as the strategy moves forward.
Hurry, both surveys close November 1!

Blueprint Boulevard Seeking Feedback
The City of Littleton is developing a plan to guide the future of Littleton Boulevard, an important corridor that serves as a gateway into Downtown Littleton and a key connector for residents and visitors.
Over the past several months, planners have gathered input through open houses, surveys, pop-up events, and community conversations on what the project’s values, vision, and principles should be. Now they want to know: Did they get it right? What would you add, edit, or clarify? Residents and businesses are invited to take this survey to review the work completed so far and tell planners whether it reflects what they value and the future they want to see.
Hurry, the survey closes October 30!
