⚠️ TRAFFIC/CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: |
|
|
We’re in the homestretch, folks! The finish line is in sight, and here’s what’s coming up:
-
Final paving, Sept. 24–26: This is the big one! Expect some traffic delays and short-term detours depending on where crews are working each day. Flaggers and signs will guide you (and yes, detours may change throughout the day). Good news: no detours during the busy morning commute.
-
Pedestrian tunnel closure: The tunnel will continue to be closed for several weeks while crews finish drainage, lighting, and other touches to make it safer and friendlier when it reopens. While the tunnel is closed, pedestrians should use the new crosswalk with flashing beacons at Oak Ridge Dr.
-
Up next:
- Final striping the week of Sept. 29. - Landscaping, signage, lighting, tunnel finishing touches, general cleanup, and punch list items into mid-October.
We know road construction isn’t easy, but this “one last push” gets us closer to the end. Thanks for your patience— we're almost there!
