Advance online registration for the the Gypsum Daze 5K is just $15. Day-of registration will be available for $25.
We strongly encourage participants to register online in advance—not only is it more affordable, but it also helps us keep race day running smoothly.

Tuesday, JULY 15 at 9:30 PM - The Library Parking Lot will be CLOSED.

Wednesday, JULY 16 & Thursday, JULY 17 - Parking directly in front of Town Hall will be limited.

Wednesday, JULY 16 at 9:30 PM- The East Rec Center Parking Lot (the lot at the base of the Gypsum Sports Complex stairs) will be CLOSED.

Thursday, JULY 17 at 9:30 PM - ALL Municipal Campus Parking Lots (Rec Center, Town Hall, & Library lots) will be CLOSED through Sunday, JULY 20, when the majority of lots will reopen. Some event items may still be in place.

Valley Road (between Hwy 6 and Cooley Mesa Rd.) will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic:
- Friday, JULY 18, 5 PM - 11 PM (Valley Rd. Permit/Resident Access Only)
- Saturday, JULY 19, 7 AM -11 PM (Valley Rd. Permit/Resident Access Only)
Gypsum Daze events take place at several locations around Gypsum. Please see specific events for their locations. However, most activities occur around the Municipal Campus (Town Hall, Gypsum Rec Center, Library, and Lundgren Amphitheater.)
EVENT PARKING: Free parking is available in the North and South Eagle Valley High School parking lots, at the Gypsum Sports Complex, and along Cooley Mesa Road, if needed. On Saturday, July 19, the South parking lot at Eagle Valley High School will become permit/pass parking only and reserved for VIP concert ticket holders, and handicapped patrons ONLY.
EVENT SHUTTLES: Core Transit Buses will run a free shuttle service Friday and Saturday, dropping patrons at the main event entrance at Lundgren Blvd/Valley Rd. Please see the map below for the event shuttle stop/pick up locations along the shuttle route.
Golf Cart Shuttles are available Saturday evening from the South High School parking lot for the elderly, handicapped, and VIP Concert Ticket Holders.
No Outside Alcohol or Coolers are permitted at Gypsum Daze, day or night. Bar service will be provided in the Food Court throughout the weekend, and inside the concert venue on Saturday until 9:30 PM. The Food Court and Carnival will be open until 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
Bag checks will take place at all three designated event entrances (@Valley Rd/Lundgren Blvd., @Library/South EVHS Parking Lot, and @Gypsum Sports Complex Stairs.) You may enter with EMPTY WATER BOTTLES and fill them at our free water stations. But due to the special event liquor permit for this event no outside beverages are allowed inside the event venue or concert venue. Beverages will be for sale from our food vendors as well as our beverage concessionaire/bar.
