Highway 6 Paving Warranty Work Begins June 16

Starting Monday, June 16, warranty milling and paving work will begin along Highway 6 in Gypsum. This work is being completed under warranty by the original paving contractor to address some faults in the 2024 paving project. This work is at no additional cost to the taxpayers.

Motorists should expect some lane shifts near the Tower Pit entrance and between the Cooley Mesa Road signal and Ferrell Gas east of Earhart Drive. Expect limited periods of single lane operations with flaggers during non-peak hours.

The project is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

As always, please slow down and obey all flaggers and signage in the construction zone to help keep motorists and crews safe.
