⚠️ TRAFFIC/CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:

Valley Road/Hwy 6 Roundabout Project Begins Week of May 5.

The Valley Road/Hwy 6 Roundabout Project will begin next week and introduce new traffic patterns through the intersection.

In the first phase of the project, the east end of Estes Lane will be closed at the traffic light. Residents on Estes Lane will need to use the west end of the road to access their neighborhood. Lane shifts will also be in place through the Valley Road/Hwy 6 intersection.

While the traffic signal will remain operational, several turn lanes will be eliminated due to the lane shifts, which may cause delays during peak travel times. The right-turn slip lane onto Hwy 6 will remain open. However, the merge lane in front of the high school will become a through lane. As a result, Valley Road motorists turning right onto Hwy 6 must yield to through traffic.

In the coming weeks, please stay alert, obey all posted signs and flaggers, and slow down in the construction zone.
