Traffic impacts for the week of 7/8/24
Crews will continue to work on paving in segments 4 and 5 and through the Cooley Mesa Rd./Hwy 6 intersection. Paving will also begin in segment 3 (west of the intersection). Depending on the construction progress and schedule, the following detours will be used next week. Signage will indicate when these detours will be in place.
Detour #1) Hwy 6 will remain open for eastbound traffic only. All westbound traffic will detour onto Cooley Mesa Rd to Jules Dr., and vice versa.
Detour #2) When the Cooley Mesa Rd./Hwy 6 intersection is closed, all traffic, both east and westbound, will be detoured onto Jules Dr. to Cooley Mesa Rd. to Lindbergh Dr. to McGregor Dr., and vice-versa.
Please adjust your commute accordingly and take it slow while traveling through construction zones to help keep the road crews' and other motorists safe. Thank you.

The project continues the week of 7/8/24 with sewer line installation. Crews are working from east to west and are more than half way. Eagle Street will remain open as much as possible but may close at times as crews approach the narrow areas of the street.
