New water rates for Gypsum
As published in the Vail Daily, the Gypsum Town Council reviewed and approved a new water rate program for Gypsum at last night's (8/8/23) town council meeting. The new program will combine tap fee increases (which took effect in May) with commercial and residential water rate increases and base-rate and volumetric usage tiers to proactively strengthen the water enterprise fund to contend with current and future infrastructure costs. The new water rates and tier structure will go into effect on September 1, 2023 (reflected on September bills, mailed in October.)
