NEW River Access Parking Area in Gypsum
As we head into the holiday weekend, river users should know that the Town of Gypsum has added parking between the Shop & Hop gas station and 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirits along Trail Gulch Road for the Broken Bridge River Access & Boat Ramp. River users may load in and load out ONLY at the river access point next to the Rittenhouse building (now The Cowboys Kitchen restaurant), then park their vehicle/boat trailer in the new parking area and walk down to enter the water.
Important to Know
- No overnight parking is allowed in the new parking area.
- Public restrooms (portas) and a picnic area are provided at the Broken Bridge River Access & Boat Ramp.
- The fishing easement at Broken Bridge and at all other river access locations in Gypsum are load in and load out ONLY. No parking is allowed at any river access point in Gypsum.
- It's runoff season, and water levels are high. Please use extreme caution when recreating in or near the river.
