Cheer on UNC in First-Ever Night Game
Join the University of Northern Colorado for City of Greeley Day as UNC Football opens its season against Weber State at 7 p.m. Friday, August 28, at Nottingham Field.
This historic game marks the first night football game ever played at UNC under the new stadium lights, and fans are encouraged to wear black for the first-ever Bears Blackout. Come early to enjoy Friday Fest, tailgate festivities and a special proclamation from Mayor Dale Hall.

Need a Hand? Greeley's Neighbor Labor Program Can Help
Summer landscape growth can make outdoor upkeep harder to manage. Greeley’s Neighbor Labor program provides temporary assistance to eligible residents who need help with small outdoor tasks such as weed removal, lawn trimming and basic yard cleanup. Availability varies based on demand, so residents are encouraged to apply early. Request help through the Neighborhood Resource Office webpage, call 970-350-9222 or email nro@greeleygov.com.

Outdoor Pools Begin Modified Schedules
Greeley's outdoor pools now have modified schedules as students return to school.

Discovery Bay Waterpark: Open weekends only.

Centennial Pool: Offers lap swim/water walking Monday through Friday in the morning and evening.
Both pools offer open swim hours on Saturdays and Sundays, and will be open on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day).

Family FunPlex Schedules Annual Maintenance
The Family FunPlex will be closed August 17-23 for its annual maintenance. Greeley Recreation members can use Centennial Pool or the Greeley Recreation Center Pool during the closure for free.

 Mark Your Calendars! Fiesta on the Plaza is September 5
Celebrate Arte y Tradición at Fiesta on the Plaza from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at Centennial Village Museum, 1475 A Street. Enjoy Latino arts and culture in Weld County with hands-on demonstrations, activities, games, art, a Charro performance, free nachos, and cake.
New this year, the Artistic Square will feature local Latina/o and Hispanic artists showcasing visual arts, handmade traditions, storytelling, and cultural expression. Artists may demonstrate, display, and optionally sell original works. Admission is free. Artist applications are due August 20.

The UCCC fall lineup is filled with music, comedy, and magic. The newest show to be announced is Lucy Darling: Simply Darling, coming Thursday, October 8. Expect razor-sharp comedy, audience interaction and plenty of surprises as Lucy Darling (performed by Carisa Hendrix) delivers an evening that's sophisticated, hilarious, and magical.
