Farewell, City Hall Event Honors the Round Building
Join us for “Farewell, City Hall” on Friday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to noon. This event marks City Hall's transition as part of the Downtown Civic Campus project. As the round building prepares for demolition, everyone is welcome to visit, celebrate its legacy, share memories, and learn about future plans for the Civic Campus and downtown. There will be memory and feedback boards, short speeches by city leaders and a flag-removal ceremony.
Can’t make it on Friday? There will be a smaller, informal event on Saturday, February 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. To learn more, visit the Civic Campus Speak Up webpage.
Attention Greeley! Changes Are Coming to City Hall Services
The City of Greeley will close the current City Hall round building at 1000 10th Street on February 25. The City will transition in-person services to the new City Hall at 1200 11th Avenue.
The move is part of the broader Downtown Civic Campus Project. It will prepare the site of the existing City Hall for abatement and eventual demolition.
The last day to receive City services in-person at the current City Hall is February 24. After that, a brief service transition will take place:
-
February 25-27: In-person assistance will be available only at the drive-through window at the current City Hall lot.
-
February 28 to March 1: City facilities are closed on weekends.
-
Beginning March 2: Residents can visit the new City Hall at 1200 11th Avenue for all in-person services.
