January Open House - Shape Western Greeley
Join us on January 26 for the West Area Plan Open House from 6-8 p.m. This open house will share updated planning ideas and a draft set of guidelines for future development. Both are shaped by feedback from earlier community meetings.
Whether you live, work or own a business in the area, this is your chance to review what’s been developed so far, ask questions, and share your thoughts as the plan moves into its next phase. If you joined us in July, you’ll recognize how your input helped guide this work. If you’re new, we’d love to hear from you.
Let us know you are planning to attend by sending your RSVP.
Recycle Your Christmas Trees After the Holidays
Greeley and Weld County residents can recycle their real, natural Christmas trees for free from now until January 31, 2026. Drop off your trees at the Greeley Organic Waste (GROW) Center's new location at 1150 North 25th Avenue.
Get more details about center hours and decoration removal.
The GROW Center Center offers a low-cost way to recycle organic waste like tree branches, grass clippings and untreated wood year round. Looking for more recycling options in Greeley? Check out our recycling web page.
Make History Part of Your Weekends
Big news for history lovers and families alike! Visiting the City of Greeley Museums just got even easier. The Greeley History Museum will be open Fridays through Sundays (instead of Thursdays through Saturdays). And, during regular hours, general admission (excluding special events) is now free at both the Greeley History Museum and Centennial Village Museum. Centennial Village opens May 22 for the season.
