Park Improvements With You In Mind
Greeley’s parks are getting updates and improvements to meet the needs of our growing community. These investments help keep our city active, connected and welcoming for all.
Here’s what’s happening:
-
Redtail Park: Help us choose the color for the new basketball court. Take the Redtail survey and tell us your favorite option. This park will feature Greeley’s first bike playground!
-
Brentwood Park: New playground equipment is in the design phase, shaped by input from Brentwood Middle School students and nearby residents.
-
Twin Rivers Community Park: A new accessible and inclusive playground is currently being designed with the help of an accessibility focus group to ensure that all kids can play.
-
New 27-Acre Community Park: Planning and design work continues for this future community anchor. More engagement opportunities are coming in 2026.
-
Peak View Park: The playground is getting refreshed with updated equipment based on community feedback.

Community Gathers to Shape the Future of MERGE Project
Thank you to the 100+ residents and businesses who joined us on November 19 for a public meeting on the Mobility Enhancements for Regional Growth and Equity (MERGE) project. The strong turnout reflected genuine community interest in this important initiative.
Attendees shared positive feedback about the anticipated safety improvements for pedestrians and enhanced traffic flow throughout the project corridor. Many participants asked thoughtful questions about funding sources, project timelines, and how construction might impact daily commutes—all of which our project team addressed during the meeting.
Feedback will directly inform the final design configuration, ensuring the project reflects the needs and priorities of those who live and work in the area.
