Join Us for Greeley Police's Town Meeting
On January 30 at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, find out what's going on with the Real-Time Information Center (RTIC), the City of Greeley's practical technology solution to improving safety and security in our community. Bring your questions, chat with city leaders, and find out how you can get involved with the program. RSVP to attend the town meeting.
Are You a Strong Swimmer with a Passion for Safety?
Help the community stay safe in the water by becoming a Greeley Recreation lifeguard. Take our American Red Cross certification course on January 11 and 18-20. Work to ensure that youth and adults are safe in all bodies of water. It's a rewarding position to hold, and the benefits are endless. You can work indoors yearlong, outdoors in the summer, and even grow your skills to teach swim lessons. Register by January 10 and make a difference in someone's life!
Free Christmas Tree Recycling at GROW Center
Don't leave it on the curb — recycle your real, natural Christmas tree for FREE at the Greeley Organic Waste (GROW) Center, 1150 North 25th Avenue, now through January 31. The center is open Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., weather permitting.
Remove decorations and lights from the tree before drop-off; then leave it with staff to grind up into compost. Recycling this material helps reduce landfill waste and lowers greenhouse gas emissions.
