For those of you neck deep in year end activities, you’re almost done! July is always a busy time of year, with closing out the prior year and getting our subrecipients up and running for a new grant cycle, but somehow we manage to do it. We hope you all get to start your summer soon and enjoy!

As we’ve discussed here and at the Summit, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) published updates to the Uniform Guidance on April 22, 2024. The OSC Grants office and the Office of the State Controller, are in the process of updating our guidance documents with the new Uniform Guidance provisions. We will ensure that all state grant policies, guidance documents and grant agreement templates are updated and ready to go prior to the October 1, 2024 effective date. Until that time, please continue to follow current Uniform Guidance requirements until the OSC has had the opportunity to update related documents.
The August SWGMG meeting will be a recorded version. The Grants Office did this last year at this same time and it worked out nicely. We too are busy and still coming down from the SWGMG Summit in May, so we determined it was still necessary to provide our quarterly meeting, even if it's not live.
We will send out the recording of the August SWGMG meeting in August via this newsletter and we'll post it on the OSC Grant website under the Statewide Grant Manager's Group (SWGMG) banner.
