New 2027 Forms Released for
Educational Purposes

On behalf of the Colorado Real Estate Commission, the Division of Real Estate is eager to announce that the 2027 Commission-approved contracts and forms have been released for educational purposes. These redlined and watermarked documents are not for use in your practice, but on January 1, 2027, fillable .pdf versions of these documents will be released on the Division’s website and must be used in real estate transactions, subject to Chapter 7 of the Real Estate Commission Rules (4 CCR 725-1).
This year, the Colorado Real Estate Commission approved updates to 62 forms. While some of these forms only have changes to the headers and footers of the documents, 40 of the forms have substantive changes. All of these changes have a mandatory use date of January 1, 2027.

For licensees seeking a careful walkthrough of the changes, the Division has developed a course that details all the changes approved by the Commission. Please note that the course is not eligible for continuing education credit. The course can be accessed for free here:
