Office of Massage Therapy Licensure – Stakeholder Meeting - October 15, 2024

The purpose of this Stakeholder Meeting is for the Director of the Division of Professions and Occupations to receive feedback from stakeholders on proposed revisions to Rules 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, and 1.6, to implement the requirements of SB24-201 (CONCERNING AN INCREASE IN THE HOURS OF WORK IN A MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM REQUIRED FOR LICENSURE AS A MASSAGE THERAPIST), which increased the number of training hours necessary to be licensed as a Massage Therapist in Colorado from 500 to 650 hours.

All written comments will be provided to the Director before the Director considers adopting the proposed rule changes.
