Colorado Civil Rights Commission to hold rulemaking hearing via Google Meets on November 17th, 10am.
Pursuant to its rulemaking authority under Colorado Revised Statutes § 24-34-305(1)(a), the Colorado Civil Rights Commission will be considering amendments to its rules, as found in the Colorado Code of Regulations at 3 CCR 708-1.
The purpose of the proposed amendments is to align the commission’s rules and regulations to comport to changes introduced into law with the passage of SB 23-172, which, in part, updated the definition of ‘harassment’ and added ‘marital status’ as a protected class in relation to employment practices.
