FAQs About Friday Health for Both Consumers and Health Care Providers Are Now Available

To help both consumers and health care providers (doctors, hospitals, etc.), the Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI) has developed two lists of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding the situation with Friday Health Plans of Colorado.

These FAQs offer details about how doctors, hospitals and other health care providers can expect to still be paid for claims they submit for patients with health coverage from Friday Health Plans of Colorado, and how both consumers and providers can submit questions and problems to the DOI. 

On June 21, the Colorado DOI placed Friday Health Plans of Colorado into rehabilitation. This means that the Division took over operations of the company and its assets, and will work to ensure that consumers' coverage continues and that their claims continue to be paid.
