Notice of Electrical and Plumbing Permit Fee Increase
Permitting fees for electrical and plumbing will increase on August 1, 2023.
State law requires fees to be set so that revenue is sufficient to cover program costs. As such, fees are increased when expenditures increase and reduced when expenditures decrease. A list of fees may be found below.
 
Processing times for permit applications submitted via U.S. mail may be delayed by up to 5-7 business days. We are encouraging all individuals requesting an electrical or plumbing permit to submit their permit applications using our online system. Online permit submissions are processed in the system immediately upon payment. An informational video on the permitting process available here.
