Greetings from the Colorado Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP),
Colorado law (§12-280-403(2)(a), C.R.S.) requires all DEA-licensed practitioners and all pharmacists licensed in Colorado to register and maintain a user account with the Colorado PDMP at colorado.pmpaware.net. On June 1, 2023 a security enhancement to the PMP Gateway will require all users accessing the Colorado PDMP through an integrated connection within an electronic health record, electronic prescribing or pharmacy management system to have an active user account with the Colorado PDMP at colorado.pmpaware.net. This message is to inform you that you currently are not registered with the Colorado PDMP at colorado.pmpaware.net and will be blocked from accessing the PDMP through the PMP Gateway on June 1, 2023 until you register a user account.
Please create a new account at colorado.pmpaware.net through the “Create an Account” link to become compliant with your statutory requirement to register and maintain a user account with the Colorado PDMP and to ensure your integrated PDMP access is not interrupted. Account support for the Colorado PDMP is available 24/7 at (855) 263-6403.
Please note, when entering your professional license number, please DO NOT include any leading zeros listed on your wallet card. For example, for a license number of DR.0012345, you should list your license number as 12345 and select the License Type DR from the License Type pick-list.
