Request for Comment on DRAFT Proposed New Bulletin B-4.1XX Concerning Substitution of Private Health Insurance Plan Coverage for the Colorado State Family and Medical Leave Insurance Benefits

The Division is seeking informal comments on the following DRAFT proposed new bulletin:

• DRAFT Proposed New Bulletin B-4.1XX - Concerning Substitution of Private Health Insurance Plan Coverage for the Colorado State Family and Medical Leave Insurance Benefits

This bulletin is intended to provide guidance to insurance companies that plan to offer paid family and medical leave benefits coverage to Colorado employers seeking to meet the requirements set forth in § 8-13.3-501, C.R.S., through substitution of a private insurance plan in place of payments into the state Family and Medical Leave Insurance Fund.

The Division is requesting informal comments be submitted no later than 5 PM, March 31, 2022, to DORA_INS_RulesandRecords@state.co.us.
