The Colorado Division of Securities presents

“How to Harness your Inner Hummingbird: Building your Nest Egg”

Denver (CO) – June 22, 2021 —The Colorado Division of Securities (the “Division”) is partnering with the Investor Protection Trust and PBS Books to produce the Boomers to Zoomers series which consists of 12 free monthly live stream events and recordings to help the public learn about saving and investing.


This month’s event, “Harness your Inner Hummingbird: Building your Nest Egg,” will provide expert tips on financially preparing for retirement.  The event is the fourth out of the 12-part series.  A free recording will be available on the Division’s website and on, along with a variety of tools and resources for savers and investors of all ages and at all stages of life.


The Boomers to Zoomers: Building a Secure Path to Retirement is a yearlong series that comes out on the fourth Friday of each month. The series provides the quality, objective investor and financial information needed by all Americans to make wise and safe investment decisions at every age and every stage of life. The Boomers to Zoomers virtual events feature timely topics, financial experts, motivational stories and practical information that viewers can use immediately to prepare for long-term financial security. Upcoming Boomers to Zoomers virtual event topics include: Financial Freedom; and Investing When You’re Just Starting Out.


Boomers to Zoomers is part of When I’m 65, a program of the Investor Protection Trust in partnership with Detroit Public Television.
