Addiction Counselors - Stakeholder Meetings and Rulemaking Hearing

The State Board of Addiction Counselor Examiners will hold a Joint Stakeholder Meeting on September 15th, a Stakeholder Meeting for only Addiction Counselors on September 21st, and the Permanent Rulemaking Hearing on October 6th. The upcoming Stakeholder engagements and Rulemaking Hearing concern the implementation of House Bills 20-1206 (Sunset) and 20-1326 (Endorsements), and Senate Bill 20-102 (Patient Disclosures).

Meeting/Hearing Format
Stakeholder input during the Meetings, and testimony at the Hearing will be limited to discussions surrounding the implementation of HB20-1206, HB20-1326, SB20-102, and the Draft Rules. All written and oral comments will be provided to the Board before any permanent rule revisions are considered.
