DOI Releases Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Business Interruption insurance and COVID-19

With the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a lot of talk and many questions about Business Interruption insurance. Because of that, the Colorado Division of Insurance is sharing this list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Business Interruption insurance and COVID-19 - what it is, what it covers, how it compares to contingent business interruption insurance, how it works in relation to COVID-19, filing a claim, and what the Division is doing about this issue.

In addition, the FAQ list also contains additional resources such as the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), the U.S. Small Business Administration and the State of Colorado Small Business Development Center.
