DENVER
— Consumers
whose household goods are still being held in storage by Special Ops Storage
and Moving Company must contact the owner of the storage facility by 5 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 8, to obtain access to their property or it may be disposed of.
The Public Utilities Commission
(PUC) revoked the permit of Special Ops Storage and Moving Co. (formerly known
as Special Ops Moving LLC and/or Delta Force Movers) in July of this year for
non-payment of a civil penalty assessment. The company, its principals,
directors, officers and managers are barred from holding a Colorado household
goods moving permit for three years from the date of revocation.
The company’s warehouse, located in
Denver, has been seized by the property owner and Special Ops personnel no
longer have access to the property held within. The warehouse owner will work
with consumers to allow people whose goods are still in storage to retrieve them.
Many of Special Ops’ customers were active duty military members and/or
veterans.
People whose property is still being
held in storage should call Kristie Allen of Everwest Property Services on
behalf of Rose Properties LLC. at 303-248-7201 immediately to discuss
retrieving their property.
