Registration closes on Friday, October 31. Don't miss your chance to learn about changes to Colorado's population.
This year’s summit will occur on Friday, November 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003
This year’s Summit will feature presentations on:
- Population Estimates for 2024: Births, deaths, and migration are the components of population change, but learn how revisions to migration data have impacted the county estimates, and how the refinement of methodology assumptions affected the municipal estimates.

- Changes in U.S. Census Estimates and Methodology to estimate Fertility and Migration.
- State and Regional Economic Trends: National and state trends, where is job growth expected in the state, and what is influencing regional changes?
- Preparing for Census 2030: Census 2026 test and the Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA).
- New web tools and applications.
- Analysis of Colorado's current housing shortfall.
- New Housing-Related data and products: Developing a forecast of households by Area Median Income and a statewide Housing Needs Assessment.
- A panel discussion on Local Government Housing Needs Assessments featuring speakers from DOLA’s Community Development Office, DRCOG, Summit County Housing Department, and the Cortez, Colorado Community and Economic Development Department Office.

Changes to Continuing Education (CE) credits
Six hours of continuing education (CE) credits are available to Appraisers or Real Estate Brokers attending the Summit in person.
Why the change to in-person only CE credits? The Colorado Division of Real Estate does not issue CE credits for hybrid meetings. SDO is offering CE credits only for in-person attendance due to resource limitations and requirements for monitoring online attendance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please contact the Division of Real Estate if you have any questions about this policy.
