2024 Law Seminar Registration
The Division of Property Taxation will hold the 64th Annual Law Seminar for assessors on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The Law Seminar will be held from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, at the Pueblo Convention Center, 320 Central Main Street, Pueblo, Colorado, 81003. A registration table will be set up at 7:30 am for each attendee to sign-in and pick up the materials.
Please use the link below to register for the Law Seminar. Each person attending needs to submit a registration form. Registration will be open until November 19, 2024.

2025 Agricultural Rates and Prices Meeting
The proposed 2025-2026 agricultural rates and prices will be submitted to the Statutory Advisory Committee (SAC) at the December 12th, 2024 meeting. Upon SAC recommendation and subsequent approval by the State Board of Equalization, the rates and prices will be submitted to all county assessors for use in the agricultural land valuation formula for the 2025 assessment year.
A meeting has been scheduled to discuss the proposed rates and prices on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at 9:00 am. Participants must register prior to the Zoom meeting using the link below.

Interested Parties Meeting for 2025 Proposed Rates and Prices
You are invited to attend a remote meeting to provide your comments regarding the proposed 2025 rates and prices contained in the following addenda from Assessor’s Reference Library (ARL), Volume 3, Chapter 6:
- Addendum 6-A: 2025 SAND AND GRAVEL ECONOMIC ROYALTY RATES
- Addendum 6-B: 2025 COAL AND OTHER RATES AND PRICES
- Addendum 6-C: 2025 HOSKOLD FACTORS WORKSHEET

Qualified Senior Primary Residence Classification Documents
The passage of Senate Bill 24-111 created the Qualified Senior Primary Residence Classification. This classification requires a property owner to complete an application and submit it to the assessor’s office in which the residence is located. The Division created the following forms for this program:

- Qualified Senior Primary Residence Classification Instructions
- Qualified Senior Primary Residence Classification Notice

Updated Veteran with a Disability Exemption Eligibility Documents
In November of 2024, Colorado voters approved a ballot measure resulting in the implementation of House Bill 23-1052. The bill requires a veteran, with unemployability status as determined by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, be treated equivalently to a veteran with one hundred percent permanent disability, including but not limited to eligibility for the property tax exemption program. Veterans determined to meet the unemployability status must complete an application and submit it to the assessor’s office in which the residence is located. The Division updated the following forms for this exemption:
- Veteran with a Disability Application
- Veteran with a Disability Instruction
- Veteran with a Disability Notice
