Preparing Insurers for CoComp
Carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and self-insured employers will gain limited access to the Division of Workers’ Compensation’s (DOWC) new claims management system, CoComp, on July 20, 2026.
If you fall within this category of stakeholders and will be utilizing CoComp, please carefully review the following information to prepare for the July 20 launch.
Gaining Access to CoComp
On July 20, those identified as Group Administrators will receive an email invitation to set up their CoComp account. Group Administrators can then directly invite members from their organizations to register.
A general email will also be sent to DOWC stakeholders with a public link to register for the system. Users are welcome to proactively register and create their CoComp accounts on July 20, so that they will be ready to go as soon as their Group Administrator configures their permissions.
Group Administrators and any user to whom they grant Claims Access Administrator permissions will be able to assign out claims to other users in the organization.

Live Training and Support
There will be several live training sessions between July 20 and July 30 to review the CoComp Foundations information, as well as training for Group Administrators and Claims Access Managers. Click the registration links below to view available training dates.
Initial CoComp Release Reminders
The upcoming CoComp release primarily affects internal DOWC business units, who are migrating their processes to the new system. Functionality for insurers during this first phase will be limited to the submission of supplemental documentation to claims.
The second release of CoComp in the fall of 2027 will include a much wider range of functionality and process integration. All other stakeholders, including attorneys, medical providers, injured workers, and employers, will also gain access to CoComp at that time.
