DOWC EDI Claims Release 3.1, Version 1.2 Requirements are Now Available

The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Claims Release 3.1, Version 1.2 Requirements (Revision Date: 04/30/2026, Effective Date: 07/09/2026) are now posted on the EDI Requirements page of the Division of Workers' Compensation (DOWC) EDI Website.

The Requirement Tables can be found in the EDI Requirements page, and the Implementation Guide is posted on the Implementation Information page of the DOWC EDI Website.

EDI Transition Timeline

Starting July 9, 2026, carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs) can submit claims using the EDI 3.1 format. Please note that July 8, 2026, is the last day to submit EDI data with the EDI 1.0 standards. Please keep an eye out for additional updates about EDI and CoComp.
