**NEW** Conveyance Email Naming Convention Effective October 1
In our ongoing efforts to better serve our stakeholders, we are providing guidance for how emails sent to the cdle_conveyance@state.co.us email address will need to be titled in the subject line of the email going forward. Click on the link below to view this guidance.
Conveyance Email Naming Convention
Although we ask that you begin using this new email naming convention immediately, we are setting an effective date of October 1, 2025.
Failure to follow this naming convention may result in a delay in response times. We appreciate your assistance and cooperation.

State of Colorado Conveyance Regulations
We would like to thank all of those who participated in the Conveyance stakeholder meetings over the past several months. We held a total of five (5) stakeholder meetings as we developed the proposed updates to the Conveyance Regulations.
The engagement and conversations with our stakeholders were great and is an important part of the regulation revision process. We have finalized our draft of the proposed revisions, and once adopted, the new version of the Conveyance Regulations will be effective on January 1, 2026.
Prior to adopting the regulation revisions, we will conduct a public hearing to present the final draft and receive any final comments. Details regarding the public hearing will be shared in the near future.

Conveyance Training and Education Available
Did you know that the OPS Conveyance Program offers training and educational opportunities? We offer training and education to large and small groups as well as one-on-one training, if needed. Training can be presented in multiple formats and can be tailored to address your specific needs. Whether you want to learn more about Elevator and Escalator Safety, Owner/Responsible Party requirements, Code requirements, or a conveyance subject matter of your choosing, we are here to help!
