Final days to avoid FAMLI penalties and interest

Make sure your business is caught up on FAMLI obligations by October 31

Make sure your business is up to date on all your FAMLI obligations. Penalties and interest will start accruing for any wage reports and premiums still outstanding after October 31, 2024.

Employers who have been approved to use a private plan to meet their FAMLI obligations have deadlines, too. 

FAMLI requires employers using private plans to send in quarterly summaries for the first three years. Those are due by the last day of the month following the end of the calendar quarter.

Failure to submit those reports could result in your private plan approval being revoked.
