Premium Deadline: July 31, 2024
The Q2 2024 reporting deadline is just around the corner. Q2 wage reports and corresponding premium payments are due Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Please get your payments in on time to avoid any potential penalties or interest.
With the premium deadline fast approaching, you may experience a delay in getting your premium calculation after submitting your wage reports. Don’t worry. You’ll receive an email from My FAMLI+ Employer letting you know that your wages have been processed and your premium balance has been calculated. You can move forward with making a payment after you get this notification. You’ll also be able to review your wage reports in the system at that time. Thank you for your patience.
You can always log in to your My FAMLI+ Employer account to check if you have any outstanding tasks. My FAMLI+ Employer sends notifications of required tasks from this email address: cdle_famli-alerts@state.co.us. Make sure you whitelist it so that important messages don’t end up in your spam or junk folders.
Employers with any missing wage reports and outstanding balances will receive a mailed letter from the Division in August. Make sure you submit your wages and premiums to avoid potential penalties and interest.

Employers with Approved Private Plans: Quarterly Reports are Due!
Approved private plan administrators must follow the quarterly reporting deadlines. Make sure your private plan administrator submits your administration summaries by July 31.
If you have been approved to use a self-insured private plan, use this .csv template from our website for submissions and email them to CDLE_FAMLI_PrivatePlans@state.co.us with the subject formatted as "YYYYQQ Private Plan Reporting." Visit our website Private Plan section for more information.
Remember: if you manage an account in My FAMLI+ Employer for an employer with an approved private plan, you no longer need to pay premiums for that employer unless otherwise requested by the Division. Continuing to do so may result in employer overpayments. If you have any questions or if you're unsure about your reporting requirements, please contact us at 1-866-CO-FAMLI (1-866-263-2654) Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. MT.

Managing Intermittent Leave Claims
Managing unpredictable health conditions, like migraines or rheumatoid arthritis, can be challenging. That’s why Colorado’s FAMLI program allows workers to take intermittent leave, offering pre-approved time off for unexpected health issues.
We know that this type of leave can be very challenging to manage. We’ve sent a helpful reminder to workers taking this type of leave, reminding them that even though this type of leave has been approved, they need to communicate with their employers as soon as possible when they need to take FAMLI leave.
We also posted some tips for workers on intermittent leave. We encourage you to share this link with your employees who have been approved for intermittent leave.
We continue to collect feedback and are currently exploring ways to streamline the user experience for employers when it comes to intermittent leave claims. Stay tuned for future enhancements!
